Have you made any New Year Resolutions? It's wise to pray about what God would like you to do and set goals so we want to finish strong.

   As we move into 2026, I want to thank all those that have helped CONNECT in many ways: with suggestions and planning for Connect meetings (and to those that challenged themselves to prepare and teach a lesson), with activities, suggesting pop-up activities, helping each other, and volunteering to assist in service projects.  

   In thinking back through 2025, service projects are some of the most memorable things for me.  When we serve we please God and that feels amazing. Most recently we participated in the Angel Tree Project and we have a fantastic Angel Tree Praise Report.  A mom and her two daughters put their trust in Jesus and prayed for salvation and for Christ to lead their lives. How great is that? They all have the same Spiritual Birthday just a few days before Christmas.  

    It was pure joy as much for us as for them!!!  It is a privilege for God to use us to tell the Christmas story and witness and actually participate in that family receiving Christ. When someone believes and becomes A Child of God and receives salvation all of Heaven rejoices!!!  I highly encourage everyone to search for a small group of three, with at least one experienced person, to go out and share. We have several folks in CONNECT interested. Contact me if you are interested.

WHAT: Post Holiday Party - one of our favorite activities! 

WHEN: Jan 10, 2026 - Second Saturday , 3:30pm

NOTE:  TBD.  To make it easy for everyone, we may opt to cater versus potluck and have a reasonable flat fee for all to chip in to cover the cost.

We will have some social time and time to eat before it starts getting too dark, so those that want to drive while there is still some light remaining hopefully be able to make it home before it gets very dark.

I am checking different catering options and possibly supplementing with a little home prepared food.  If anyone has suggestions on places for catering please reply with the information.

This way we can have one flat fee and I think it will be easier than all potluck.
