CONNECT FAMILY -

I hope your kick off for the new year has blessed you and ...you are well on your way to achieving some of your New Year Resolutions. I made some progress on house projects and Bible Studying, my son got engaged the week before Christmas, and it has been a joyous time. Unfortunately, mixed in with all that joy there has also been tragedy.

My ex got double pneumonia and went to the hospital on rt 100 for a few days before Christmas. He was home for just a couple days with oxygen and was getting worse, so the morning of Christmas Eve, he went back to the hospital. It appeared he was getting better, then sadly today he was moved to hospice. There have been many ups and downs and it's really hard to watch. We do not always understand God's timing, but we know He is in charge and has a reason for everything. We trust in Him always and pray the family draws closer together and relies on God to get us through. Amen

Recap of 2 Past ACTIVITIES

1. Angel Tree gift giving, meeting the families and telling the Christmas story/witnessing is such a wonderful experience. I pray others who have not participated will join us next year to see for yourself exactly how much joy there is in serving others and doing God's will.

2. Post Holiday Party. The homemade food was fantastic and so was our time spent together. We have a wonderful group of people in our Connect Family. I feel very blessed.

We will watch an excellent 34 minute video of one of Gary Hamrick's services titled: "What is God's Will for My Life". This video has 517 views!!!!

Connect has had discussions on what our purposes are and finishing strong. This video is inspirational for us as we strive to please God, serve others, and shine His light so others may want to know more. There is joy and peace from God like no other!!!

Note: keep an eye out for another email in the event of a change of plans due to the status of my ex husband. My son is staying with me and several others from out of town are also staying in Palm Coast. If you have RSVPed and there is a change I will also text you.
