There are many things to pray for
I pray for peace and wisdom for you all, for our Connect Group to be strong and to grow, our churches, leaders, our country, and the world conflicts.
Our Second Saturday Activity: “Soul on Fire" movie was truly an inspiring story and thought provoking. John, a horribly burned nine-year-old boy, was only given zero to one percent chance of living and he survived. His fingers were amputated, his total body scared all except, miraculously, his face. It is a true story of love, people willing to help, of John's great determination, his successful career, and success as a motivational speaker. However, as is so often the case, it was the inside emotional scars that took the longest.
I believe our faith in the one true all-powerful God can heal all things and help us get through emotional trauma in life. How can we protect our faith? How can we grow our faith?
I hope you can make our Fourth Friday early dinner and meeting - this Friday!
