CONNECT FAMILY -

Greetings, May has been a busy month for Connect. Our Post Easter Party was a lot of fun!!! As always it is great to have some folks from the St Augustine group join us. We had about 18 people. Good potluck food, good fellowship, and good weather!!!

The following weekend we went on the 90 minute Dolphin Odyssey Tour Boat Ride from the Vilano Fishing Pier followed by lunch at Aunt Kate's. WE had an answered prayer for good weather. It rained the day before and the day after and even rained nearby that morning. Praise God, we had beautiful weather and saw some dolphins....and helped make Vinnie's birthday special. Hopefully we did not embarrass him too much!

PRAYER REQUESTS:

I PRAY for all of our Connect Family - for our Spiritual, Mental, and Physical health. Our fellowship, friendships, and comroderry with the group. That we share our faith, talents, strengths, hopes, and ....we help each other as needs arise. AMEN

1. Mary Drobnick - foot surgery Wednesday! The first two weeks of a six week recovery period will be the most difficult. Mary please reach out if you need help! Several of us live very close to you.

1. Continued prayers for Dave McCraig. He has had more visitors and his spirits are still good. He is able to eat yogurt now! Please pray he continues to gain strength and will be able to begin rehab quickly.

2. Kay Able's - Next adventure is coming up quickly. She is looking forward to moving on May 21st to be near many relatives in Awesome Austin Texas. We celebrated with Kay at our last meeting!!!

3. Pray for all our groups, churches, pastors, families, communities, our country, and world peace. There are so many people sick and people struggling in various other ways. Pray for WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) in all situations

4. Pray for those that don't truly know Christ to seek Him. The Bible tells us to seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matt 6:33)

NEXT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:

May 27th, Andy and Sherrie will make the sandwiches for the Sheltering Tree.

We still need a volunteer to deliver the sandwiches.

...and June 24th - wide open!

* It is a joy to serve others! Please pray about helping with this very worthwhile opportunity to serve and experience this joy knowing you have done God's work and pleased Him. Consider volunteering to deliver May 27th and/or volunteer on June 24th.
